Sensitivity Analysis:

The sensetivity analysis resulted in landuse being the most important factor determining the present location of golf courses. This can be seen as many of the present locations of courses, closely corresponds to the locations that resulted from the MCE. Most courses appear to locate themselves just on the boundry between urban areas and open areas or green space. This is likely so that they are still located near their potential customers and they are still located within open space. The result from the landuse MCE can be seen below.

Locational Analysis:

The locational analysis preformed yielded 2 possible locations for the construction of a new golf course. However one of these is located in an area of North Vancouver that would be unsuitable for development as it is on a mountain side. Had elevation been taken into account this site would not have been chosen. The other location in the southern GVRD would however be appropriate for development. Two maps showing suitability can be seen below, one which incorporates landuse and one which does not.
