I am a Geography student at Simon Fraser University, working towards the Geographic Information System (GIS) Certificate. In my project, I will analyse a location of a new casino, which will become a medium or large resort complex in Greater Vancouver Regional District (GVRD). Construction of a casino is a tough work because generally, the publics is against the opening of a major casino in their neignbourhood. Therefore, there are several restrictions, particularly landuse determination, on opening a new casino.
