Dr. Marc Ellis Lecture
On November 21, 2009 Dr. Marc Ellis, Professor of Jewish Studies at Baylor spoke at Simon Fraser University, Vancouver. His talk Does Judaism Equal Israel? focused on the problems created when Jewishness is treated as synonymous with unquestioning support for Israel. A panel responded to Ellis's presentation, followed by questions from members of the audience.

  • Terri-Lynn Williams-Davidson Lecture
    On April 19, 2007 Terri-Lynn Williams-Davidson was invited to give a lecture at SFU Vancouver. This lecture, entitled Protecting and Respecting the Earth's Soul and Aboriginal Cultural Traditions, was hosted by the Interfaith Summer Institute for Justice, Peace and Social Movements and the J.S.
