Though InnoCom is housed in Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, it exists as a collaborative innitiative between several Western Canadian Universities.

InnoCom's membership conists of groups of researchers and graduate students from several universities in Western Canada as well as international institutions and oganisations.

Innocom's network is facilitated through several meetings throughout the year as well as through regular video conferences between researcher and graduate students at the various institutions.
