The IRMACS Centre is organized around research projects, each of which is led by a Project Leader. The Centre provides its project members with a dynamic, interactive, interdisciplinary research environment. Projects and their members are assigned space in one of the IRMACS labs and have access to extensive resources. Learn more.

Visit the IRMACS Centre

IRMACS welcomes visiting scientists to the Centre, to conduct their research using the IRMACS facilities and to collaborate with other IRMACS members. Visit length is flexible and may be short-term (a week or two) or long-term sabbaticals (up to year). Learn more.

Participate in IRMACS Events

The IRMACS Centre hosts a wide array of academic and non academic events. These include seminars, colloquia, distinguished talks, guest lectures, recurring presentations and videoconferences, workshops, conferences, research meetings, and recruiting, cultural, and community events. The IRMACS Centre provides a flexible, collaborative, computationally sophisticated research, meeting and conferencing environment for SFU researchers and the broader community. IRMACS meeting room facilities range from a state-of-the-art 100 seat Presentation Studio, through to a technically sophisticated Boardroom, to a range of meeting rooms (10908, 10940, 10917.2) and breakout rooms.
