On Tuesday, May 8, 2012, Math Catcher visited Alderson Elementary School, Coquitlam, BC, “a small school with the big heart”. Ms. Terri Galligos, a teacher in the Aboriginal Education Department, organized our visit. Veselin Jungic, Stephani Monkman, Kassia Holland, and Alejandro Erickson, met with two groups of students in Grades 4 and 5. Small Number did his magic again and our young audience wholeheartedly enjoyed talking, playing and making mathematics.
