Math Catchers visited W.E. Kinvig Elementary in Surrey, BC. Ms. Kate McMillan, the principal, and Ms. Cheryl Lighowlers, the teacher, made the following schedule for our visit:
- 8:45 to 9:20/25 K, Gr 1 Gr 2
- 9:30 to 10:15 Gr 3,4,5
- 10:45 to 11:45 Gr 6,7
We met with about 35 Aboriginal students very eager to learn mathematics, play with our math toys and build tenesgrities.
