The Office of the Provost and the Vice President Academic collects personal information under the authority of the University Act [R.S.B.C. 1996, c.468, s. 27(4)(a)] and the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act [R.S.B.C, 1996, c. 165, s. 26(c)].  The information is related directly to and needed by the Office of the Provost and Vice President Academic for the purposes of activities related to the planning and implementation of the SFU Medical School.  The personal information collected may include email addresses and personal phone numbers.
