         No Sunday trolley service; all lines dieselized. The tunnel at Harvard Square was carefully preserved and renovated when the station was rebuilt as part of the Red Line extension in the mid-80s. A brand new trolly barn and repair facility was built in North Cambridge at Mass Ave and Dudley Street. Thirty new low-floor 40-foot trackless trolleys have been delivered from Neoplan Corporation. Some Neoplan articulated trolleys have arrived for the Silver Line Routes.

1958 5m/rush  Route 77 is a diesel run that goes all the way to Arlington Heights. No service on Saturdays or Sundays. Replaced with route 77. Friday, 22 MR 02 was the last day of daily service on R., 77, Service on 77A has been cutback to a few morning trippers. by 31 AU 2002 nearly full rush hour service restored. It is though routed with route 73 during rush hours an alternately with 73/71 other times untiol 10 a.m. Non-rush hours trips exist when trolleys start from or return the N. Cambridge garage. No service Saturdays or Sundays or Holidays.
  South Boston Piers Transitway (Silver Line) 17 DE 2004 ??  First phase opened on 17 DE 04, to D Street Loop, using 40 foot Neoplan trolleys, on temporary loan from the Cambridge Division.
