First public policy grads
The first cohort of students to enrol in SFU’s new master of public policy program at SFU Vancouver graduated in 2005. The comprehensive interdisciplinary program—the first in Western Canada—was well received by students and prospective employers alike. Graduates such as Judy Harris, a mother of six from B.C.’s interior, look forward to careers as policy analysts and researchers at the municipal, provincial or federal levels of government as a result of their training.
