The OPTIONS statement changes the value of one or more SAS system options. System options are either portable or host-specific. Summary Table of SAS System Options provides a description of all system options supported in the CMS environment, both portable and host-specific.
Some system options cannot be changed during a SAS session; they can be changed only when you invoke SAS. SAS system options that can be specified in an OPTIONS statement are identified in Summary Table of SAS System Options.
