Syntax

SORTMSG | NOSORTMSG

SORTMSG: specifies that SAS software should request the host sort program to display all messages.
NOSORTMSG: specifies that SAS software should request the host sort program to display only critical messages.

NOSORTMSG can be overridden by the MESSAGE option in the PROC SORT statement.

Default:	NOSORTMSG
