Syntax

COLOR field-type <color | NEXT <highlight>>

field-type: specifies the area of the window or the type of text whose color is to be changed.
color: specifies a color for the window or for selected portions of the window.
NEXT: changes the color to the next available color. The value of NEXT is based on the most recent color entered. The order of the colors depends on your monitor.
highlight: specifies the highlighting attribute.

Details

Under OS/2, you cannot use the COLOR command to change the colors of the following display components: border, menu bar, pop-up menu background, and title bar. Use the OS/2 Control Panel to change the colors of these display components.

In addition, the HIGHLIGHT and BLINK attributes are not supported for any OS/2 window component.
