ALTPRINT



Specifies the destination for a copy of the SAS procedure output file

Default: no copy of SAS output is made
Valid in: SAS invocation, SASV8_OPTIONS environment variable, configuration file

-ALTPRINT filename | -NOALTPRINT

-ALTPRINT filename
specifies the name of a file to which the copy of the procedure output is to be sent.

-NOALTPRINT
causes any previous ALTPRINT specifications to be ignored.


Details

All messages that are written to the SAS procedure output file are also written to filename. You can use this option to capture the procedure output for printing.
