CACHENUM=n

n: specifies the number of I/O data-cache pages to be used per SAS file. The default value is 5.

Details

Pages of SAS files are cached in memory with each cache containing multiple pages. By default, the CACHENUM= system option maintains up to 5 caches for each open file.
