LINESIZE=



Specifies the line size of SAS output

LINESIZE=width | n | MIN | MAX | hexX

width
specifies the display width setting of the output.

n
specifies the line size of the output in bytes. Valid values are 64 to 256.

MIN
sets the line size of the output to 64, and requires SAS to use a default value.

MAX
sets the line size of the output to 256.

hexX
specifies the line size of the output as a hexadecimal number. This number must be followed by an X, as in hexadecimal-valueX.


Details

In the OpenVMS environment, the default for interactive modes (the SAS windowing environment and interactive line mode) is the display width setting. For noninteractive and batch modes, the default is 132 characters.
