DBCS | NODBCS

DBCS: uses two bytes for each character in the set.
NODBCS: does not use two bytes for each character in the set.

Details

In addition to supporting languages such as Chinese, Japanese, and Korean, you can use DBCS to convert lowercase variable values into uppercase.
