WRKCACHE=n| nK | nM | nG | MIN | MAX | hex

n: specifies the size of the data cache in bytes (n), kilobytes (nK), megabytes (nM), and gigabytes (nG). The default is 65,024 bytes.
MIN: sets the size of the I/O data cache to 0.
MAX: sets the size of the I/O data cache to 65024. This number is the default.
hex: specifies the size of the I/O data cache as a hexadecimal number. This number must be followed by an X, as in hexadecimal-valueX.

Details

The WRKCACHE= data set option controls the size (in bytes) of each I/O data cache used for all files in the WORK data library. The value of n must be a positive integer.
