1-5. Note the quiet ambience in the house.

6. Constant hum in background, with interesting fluctuations in pitch; different banging noises, some cars passing by, squeak of crane.

0'40" cement mixer.

1'00" cement mixer stops and starts.

7. Different location to pick up crane squeak better, cement mixer in foreground.

8. Same location as 7, hums, various hammering sonorities and rhythms.
