My current research interest is computer science education. This research aims to provide useful teaching, advising, and curriculum development techniques to computer science educators. I'm particularly interested on how we can use technology to improve the teaching and learning experience.

My past research interest was on incorporating colour information in computer vision, especially in application to medical image analysis. I have also worked on subspace analysis, latent structure models and feature Selection. During my PhD, I have been mainly focused on developing new methods to improve computer-aided diagnosis of skin cancer from dermoscopic and clinical images. I have authored several scientific papers, and acted as the technical reviewer for several journals and conference proceedings.
