Electronic, spintronic, optical and thermal properties of the nonmagnetic and diluted magnetic semiconductors, nanoscale materials such as quantum wires, carbon nanotubes, graphene nanoribbons and quantum dots. The effects of defects, vacancy and substitutional disorder on the physical properties of these materials. Electronic transport in the presence of electron-electron and electron-phonon interactions.
