Test Structure

Participants

The two participants selected for this study are regular users of computers and web interfaces; both have prior experience with content management systems that they use on a semi-regular basis.

Method

The test was conducted in separate rooms for each participant, both of which were quiet environments with a laptop. The Think Aloud method was used, wherein the participants say what actions they were doing / and how they felt while completing the tasks.

Tasks

1) Edit the message on the Home Page. Change its background colour & edit the text. Save that edit & publish the page.

2) Add a “Contact” page to the main navigation.

3) Once the first two tasks are complete, go back to the original version of the page.
