10 X P o s t c a r d s

Students are required to create 10 postcard sized images with poetic text. Each will reflect an idea presented in the previous class. Postcard 1, reflecting the first lecture is due the day before the second lecture (Jan. 15th 2013).

Postcards can be submitted as Word docs, pdfs or JPEGS. They must be labeled as follows: YourFirstandLastNameCardNumber. For example: MartinGotfritCard1.jpg or NancyTamCard2.docx , etc. Due to the large number of students in the class, files improperly labelled (such as Postcard1.docx) will not be accepted.
       
6 X F i l m _ Journals Students are required to complete 6 one page film journals based upon 6 different films. Info here

Required and graded.

3 possible marks:

5 = satisfactory, 2 = unsatisfactory, 0 = late or not submitted.

6 logs X 5%. No late logs accepted.

Questionnaire/Log (Final Project) The final project is due on the day of the last class. (April 10, 2013). Students will be required to complete a detailed film log (see an example here) of a feature length film along with answers to a specific set of questions. Info here. Required and graded.
