We currently do external, because everything is currently there.  We're going to have to switch to a combo because our resources aren't in there yet.  I haven't really noticed any sluggishness, but that's probably because we only include faculty and staff for our GAL.  I'm curious if we'll notice a change when we add the internal for resources.

We are running an external GAL because we already had our data there.

This isn't sounding encouraging since our GAL is already slow.
