In our astronomy courses, we fly through the cosmos and discover stars, nebulae, galaxies and the universe.
In first year physics we get to do fun things like fly ping pong balls with hair dryers!

My first course at SFU was Quantum Mechanics I! This is where we learn all about the weird world of the fundamental particle, Heisenberg's uncertainty principle and poor Schroedinger's cat!
"Astrowoche" (German for "Astro week") is an observing course for undergraduates which takes place at the top of Mt. Diavolezza (in the middle of winter, in -20° C weather!). I am the guide for the radio interferometry experiment. Astrowoche, Diavolezza

I also TA'd Astro II, a course about the physical processes in an expanding universe that lead to the galaxies that we observe today.
In Jerusalem, I TA'd "Advanced Astrophysics: Cosmology and Galaxies", a theory-heavy masters-level course, which I taught in both English and Hebrew. Cold streams of gas

At UBC, I TA'd undergraduate-level physics and astronomy labs. My favourite quote from a teaching evaluation: "Best TA I ever had!"
