About Me

I am an assistant professor at Simon Fraser University working in algebraic geometry. I am currently serving as graduate co-chair for the math department.

Previous to this, I was a postdoc at UC Berkeley and the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics. I completed my PhD at the Freie Universit├Ąt Berlin.

Upcoming Events

Piotr Achinger, Jarek Buczynski, and Masha Vlasenko and I are organizing the semester-long program Varieties: Arithmetic and Transformations at the Banach Center in Fall 2018.

Together with Nils Bruin, I organize the NTAG seminar at SFU.

I am a co-organizer for Foundations of Computational Mathematics meeting FoCM 2020 taking place in Vancouver in 2020.

I am secretary of the SIAM PNW Section.

Kalle Karu and I are organizing an algebraic geometry special session at the 2018 CMS Winter Meeting.
