a) 2016-2017 Foundation Grant competition: Summary of stage 1 results

 

The stage 1 review process for the 2016-2017 Foundation Grant competition is now complete. Applicants were notified of the status of their stage 1 application and 234 applicants out of 600 are being invited to submit their stage 2 application. The anticipated Notice of Decision for the competition is August 3, 2017. Read more

3) Application and Funding Policies

 

a) Introducing the Tri-Agency Framework: Responsible Conduct of Research (2016)

 

On December 23, 2016, the Presidents of the three federal research agencies – the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) – announced the release of the revised version of the Tri-Agency Framework: Responsible Conduct of Research (2016). The RCR Framework (2016) replaces the original Framework that was published in 2011.

On January 27th, Dr. Latimer invited the research community to join a live discussion about the first stage of the review process for the Project Grant: Fall 2016 competition. 5) Upcoming Webinars
