Message from the Acting President of CIHR, Dr. Roderick McInnes
Dear colleagues,
With the recent retirement of Dr. Alain Beaudet, CIHR has begun the selection process for its new President. Canada�s Minister of Health, the Honourable Jane Philpott, has asked me to serve as Acting President of CIHR during this transitional period, and I am pleased to accept this appointment.

En raison du d�part � la retraite du Dr Alain Beaudet, les IRSC ont entam� le processus de s�lection d�un nouveau pr�sident. L�honorable Jane Philpott, ministre de la Sant� du Canada, m�a demand� d�agir � titre de pr�sident int�rimaire des IRSC durant cette p�riode de transition, et je suis heureux d�accepter cette nomination.
