All full grant applications must be accompanied by a fully signed SFU signature sheet and fully signed grant eligibility form (if applicable for Adjunct Professors, Postdoctoral Fellows and University Research Associates) and must be received by ors@sfu.ca by the listed internal deadline.

Insight Grants

Insight Grants support research excellence in the social sciences and humanities. Funding is available to both emerging and established scholars for long-term research initiatives of three to five years. 

- The ORS internal deadline is 10 OCT 2016, applications must be in submit mode by this date in order to receive an internal review. The agency is 15 OCT 2016. However, 15 OCT 2016 falls on a Saturday, so the agency deadline will be adjusted to Monday, 17 OCT 2016.

Partnership Grants (by invitation from SSHRC only if successful in LOI stage which was held early 2016):

Partnership Grant proposals are expected to respond to the objectives of the Insight program or the Connection program , or a combination thereof. 

- The ORS internal deadline is 25 OCT 2016, applications must be in submit mode by this date in order to receive an internal review. The agency deadline is 1 NOV 2016.
