Performance Analysis of Video Streaming over LTE using Riverbed Modeler

ABSTRACT

LTE or Long-Term Evolution is a wireless network technology used by network operators around the globe for high-speed communication for smart phones or data terminals [1]. The aim of this project is to assess the performance of Video Streaming on LTE networks over applications such as YouTube. The idea is to analyse the packet transfer from a specific node to another and see the how the transfer occurs over a vast network with multiple nodes and evaluate its performance. Riverbed Modeler will be employed to administer the entire process.
