1. eTrainerCB Instructional Design and Production Tool begins today!
.......................................................
Dates: 8 - 21 April, 2002
Moderators: Lucio Teles, Lukas Klose, and Shevy Levy

More and more instructors and trainers are faced with the challenges of
designing online courses. And while many learning management systems provide
a comprehensive suite of tools, many fail to support instructors throughout
the necessary steps to designing effective curriculum.

In this GEN seminar you are invited to try out a new instructional design
tool and to share your feedback, and ideas for integrating this tool into
practice. TELEStraining's eTrainerCB Course Builder is an instructional
design and production tool for creating online courses and modules.
eTrainerCB integrates instructional design templates, has a built-in Web
authoring tool, and exports content to any learning management system
platform.

in the the following three contexts:
1) Vision
2) Organization, and
3) Networking

Mark your calendars for this 4 week seminar where we will explore new
strategies and ideas for building online relationships, enabling choices,
constructing group knowledge, and promoting community growth.

Our facilitator, Manon Desjarlais, is bilingual. We encourage participation
in both French and English.

3. CourseReader -- Bringing the Best Educational Opportunities to Everyone,
Everywhere
.......................................................
Thanks to a very energetic group of beta testers from 10 countries, our
CourseReader seminar was very productive and fun! We are busy preparing a
final summary and adding to our list of design issues and next steps.

The seminar will continue to wind down over the next week at:
