Conclusion

This analysis shows that there are areas of suitability that are large enough to provide for a growing trade in this commodity. The large diversity of the locations discovered in the results related to each grape species suggests that the GVRD could provide a large range of different wine types and flavours. This spatial analysis opens the door for further research in this area that could increase support and precision on the results found in this analysis. Vineyards would also likely increase the beauty of BC, especially in areas where our natural ecosystems are unable to survive (thin soils). Some examples of their beauty can be seen below.
