EDI REFLECTIONS FOR ASIAN HERITAGE MONTH

May is Asian Heritage Month, a time to reflect on and recognize the contributions that our Asian community members make to SFU and to the world. This year, however, acknowledgment of Asian Heritage Month must occur alongside acknowledgment of a rise in anti-Asian hate and violence during COVID-19.

In light of this, we have created a page that holds space for self-identified Asian members of the SFU community to share thoughts on what Asian Heritage Month means to them, celebrate their heritage, and reflect on some of these difficult topics, should they wish.
