Reminder: claim your home office expenses on your tax filings

SFU employees who worked from home during 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic are eligible to claim Home Office Expenses on their 2020 income tax filing. Under the CRA’s new administrative policy for 2020, the taxpayer may claim home office expenses using one of two claim methods, simplified or detailed. The 2020 T4/T4A tax forms are also now available by logging into myINFO.
