Milwaukee's unique feeder cable brackets for
use on concrete and steel tubular line poles. The "acorn" streetlight
is also a Milwaukee original. Many Milwaukee street light standards erected
prior to mid-1965 still bare visible "scars" from the days when cross
span collars and feeder cable brackets were mounted. Photo by Ken Josephson.
A westbound Route 21-North Avenue Marmon-Herrington
crosses North 49th Street. It is the last week of December, 1962.
On December 29th, , Routes 15, 21, 22, 35 and the Vliet Street

21's western terminal was at N. 60th Street and West North Avenue.
A connecting diesel or gas bus continued west into Wauwatosa.
A short turn loop via West Lisbon Avenue and North 49th Street
