Search for Vice-President Research & International
Professor Dugan O’Neil is currently serving as Vice-President, Research and International pro tem for one year, with his term ending on June 30, 2021. In order to choose SFU’s next VP, Research and International, SFU is launching a search process in accordance with GP 29.
This is a key role for the university, as the successful candidate will continue to advance the university’s research mission and international strategy. They will lead strategic research initiatives and collaborate with SFU faculty and students to ensure they have the support and resources to conduct cutting-edge research.
The SFU community is invited to participate in the search process, either as part of the committee or elsewhere in the consultation process. A call for nominations for members of the search committee will come out the week of September 27th from the SFU Senate office. If faculty or staff members would like to participate on the search committee, please consult GP 29 for eligibility. Once the search committee has been assembled, more information about opportunities to participate in the search will be available on this page.
