About PSSSC

The Post-Secondary Support Staff Conference (PSSSC) is the result of an initiative of support staff at Langara College. A multi-institutional committee was formed in the Fall of 2001 and the planning began. The PSSSC is a forum for support staff at colleges, universities and institutes in BC to participate together in: inter-institutional networking; personal and professional growth workshops and discussing and sharing best practices.

The 1st Annual PSSSC Conference was held at Langara College in 2002. Since that time, Capilano College, BCIT, Vancouver Community College, Douglas College, Kwantlen University College and Simon Fraser University's Burnaby Campus have hosted the conference. This year's 8th annual conference is at Langara College on June 10th, 2009. Support staff are invited to come together once again to renew and strengthen connections that have developed in the past seven years. This will also provide an opportunity for those who have not yet attended a previous conference to meet colleagues from other institutions and begin building professional and personal connections.
