BATCH | NOBATCH

Syntax Description

BATCH: specifies that SAS use the batch settings of LINESIZE=, OVP, PAGESIZE=, and SOURCE. At the start of an interactive SAS session, you can use the BATCH setting to simulate the behavior of the system in batch mode.
NOBATCH: specifies that SAS not use the batch settings for LINESIZE=, OVP, PAGESIZE=, and SOURCE. While in batch mode, you can specify NOBATCH to use the default (nonbatch) settings for the options LINESIZE=, OVP, PAGESIZE=, and SOURCE.

Details

The setting of the BATCH option does not specify the method of operation. BATCH only sets the appropriate batch settings for a collection of options that are in effect when SAS executes.
