CONSOLELOG=file-specification

file-specification: identifies an external file. Under OS/390, it can be a valid DDname, a physical file, or the name of a file stored in the directory structure of UNIX System Services. The DDname must have been previously associated with an external file using either a TSO ALLOCATE command or a JCL DD statement.

Details

CONSOLELOG= specifies the location of a file that receives SAS log information when the log file of the SAS process is undefined or unavailable. This occurs most frequently during SAS invocation before the normal log file is allocated.
