Details

The FSDBTYPE system option specifies the full-screen type of double-byte character set (DBCS) encoding method. Under Unix, you can specify the following encoding-methods:

DEC: specifies the DEC DBCS encoding method.
DEFAULT: specifies the default DBCSTYPE for the host.
EUC: specifies the Extended UNIX encoding method.
HP15: specifies the HP-UX DBCS encoding method.
JIS7: specifies the JIS X0208 encoding method.
PCIBM: specifies the IBM PC DBCS encoding method.
SJIS: specifies the Shift-JIS encoding method. Valid only when the value of DBCSLANG is JAPANESE.

Each hardware manufacturer uses different DBCS encoding methods, so check with your system administrator for other values you can specify.
