UNBUFLOG

Specifies whether the SAS log is buffered

Default: NOUNBUFLOG

Valid in: configuration file, SAS invocation

Syntax

UNBUFLOG | NOUNBUFLOG

UNBUFLOG: specifies that messages are written to the SAS log as they are generated.
NOUNBUFLOG: specfies that messages are saved in the buffer and written to the SAS log when the buffer is full.

The UNBUFLOG system option is most useful when you are running in server mode. Specifying UNBUFLOG may slightly reduce performance.
