| FILECLOSE=disposition |
| REWIND | rewinds to the beginning of the tape after closing each member. |
| LEAVE | performs no tape positioning when a member is closed. |
| FREE | rewinds and dismounts the tape when the current member is closed. Note that under OpenVMS, the device is dismounted, not deallocated or "freed." |
| REREAD | rewinds to the beginning of the file. |
| Details |
The FILECLOSE= data set option overrides the TAPECLOSE= system option.
