NOEXPANDLNM
specifies that concealed logical names are not to be expanded when paths are displayed.

Details

The EXPANDLNM system option controls whether concealed logical names are expanded when paths are displayed to the user. By default, VMS concealed logical names are not expanded when used in messages in the SAS log. Using the EXPANDLNM system option forces these concealed logical names to expand.

In Version 8 of the SAS System under OpenVMS, the EXPANDLNM system option can be used with all engines.

Example

For example,

MYDISK$:[DIRECTORY]
is displayed as
$1$DUA1:[MYDISK.DIRECTORY]
