SFU Change Makers is a video interview series, hosted by Joy Johnson, VP Research and International, that explores how the SFU research community is engaging and innovating to respond to the COVID-19 outbreak.

In this episode, SFU Faculty of Health Sciences Professor Jeff Reading joins Johnson in a discussion on how stress women experience in isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic could have potential health impacts, such as diabetes and heart disease, for the next generation.

He also touches on the significant impacts on already vulnerable indigenous communities, and how national networks likes CanCOVID are coordinating and optimizing Canada’s research response to the public health crisis.
