An evening of conversation with Indian film star Tabu and award-winning Canadian author Yann Martel. Yann and Tabu spokeabout their work, and the process of bringing the written page to life on the silver screen.

Speaker Bios

Tabu has dazzled audiences in over 70 Bolllywood films, and has recently finished filming for Oscar-winning director Ang Lee's much awaited film Life of Pi, based on the novel by Yann Martel. 

Yann Martel is is the author of a collection of short stories and three novels, most notably Life of Pi, which won him the 2002 Man Booker Prize, and was a global bestseller. His most recent novel is Beatrice and Virgil.
