Policy and Pints: Enacting Social Change "From Within"

February 07, 2013

Efforts to enact social change are always political, but how do structures affect these efforts? Funding streams and the City of Vancouver's Advisory Committees create opportunities for diverse communities to develop programming. At the same time, they reproduce divisions within a diverse population.

Panelists discussed the successes and challenges of enacting social change "from within" and point to strategies for engaging communities in ways that reflect their full diversity.
