Tea At Three
The Beedie School of Business Graduate Programs were the hosts of an innovative campus program called Tea at 3 at SFU’s Vancouver campus. Staff, faculty and students from the school joined a mix of members from the wider SFU Vancouver campus community to enjoy delicious treats and hot tea on a typical rainy Vancouver day.
More than just a chance to satisfy your sweet tooth and celebrate afternoon tea like a proper British lord or lady, Tea at 3 is an opportunity for the internal SFU community to connect with colleagues and learn about what each is researching, programming, or studying.
“Tea at 3 provides a regular opportunity for faculty and staff across the campus and in every department to meet, re-connect and build networks,” said Laurie Anderson, SFU Vancouver’s Executive Director.
The program is part of a wider series of INgagement Programs designed by the Executive Director’s Office to build a greater sense of community at SFU Vancouver. The programs work by increasing campus engagement and developing more opportunities for staff, students and faculty to interact.
By hosting a Tea at 3, a department has the opportunity to showcase their programming and make valuable connections on campus.
Just make sure to bring your cup!
