A presentation from EMMA Talks, Dr. Amina Wadud talked about the evolution of Muslim women are in the 21st Century as it relates to her own personal history and story. Dr. amina wadud is Professor Emiratis of Islamic Studies and Visiting Scholar at Starr King School for the Ministry.  Author of Qur’an and Woman; and, Inside the Gender Jihad; she is a founding member of Sisters in Islam and resource person for Musawah: the global movement for reform in Muslim Personal Status Law.
