President's Dream Colloquium: Injection Drug Use, and the Interacting Epidemic of Substance Abuse and HIV | Hansel Tookes

This lecture was delivered by Dr. Hansel Tookes on the topic of "Injection Drug Use and the Interacting Epidemics of Substance Use and HIV". Dr. Tookes is responsible for developing the first needle exchange site in Miami, Florida and will be discussing harm reduction models in the United States. The evening will also feature Cole Stanley, Medical Lead in the Best Practices in Oral Opioid Agonist Therapy (BOOST) Provincial Collaborative, and a question period moderated by Community Activists.
