Apart from watching movies & rugby year round, my time is filled with working our seven acres. As a believer in the 100-yard diet, I've raised a wide range of vegetables & fruit as well as hops and Red Fife wheat - a heritage variety that used to grace the Canadian Prairies well over a century ago.

My volunteer work has included:

Steering Committee Chair, The Advocacy Office - an advice bureau for the underprivileged having troubles dealing with government officials or landlords.
